Moving Home

By the time I lay my little mits on a PSP (pre-ordered from http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/webstore/productpage.asp?productcode=PP0001 I should be in a new house! Yep, the wife and I have sold our house STC and have had an offer accepted on a property nearer our family.

We have a tiny chain, our buyer is through a government initiative and is as good as a cash buyer whilst our vendor's house is an inheritance so no upper chain!This leaves us stuck in the middle, waiting to hear from both sets of solicitors. We have been lucky as a friend of our's (I'll call her L) works for a solicitor and has got us a great deal. Not only that but L said she will push our paperwork through super quick.

So what to do whilst waiting for the exchange of contracts? The list appears to be endless but for a start a good clear-out is in order. Today I have been up in the loft sorting through the junk we have accumulated over the last 6 years. I don't know about you but I find it really hard to throw stuff out, even if you know you never likely to use it again! With a lump in my throat I have managed to get together 5 big black bags of stuff that will be going to the rubbish tip in a few minutes, leaving only one bag of goodies for the charity shop.

The wife finishes work soon so I best be getting on with things
