Go get what you want / deserve from work

It took me over 15 years to realise what job I wanted. Now I earn a great deal less than I did 5 years ago but am a great deal happier.

You have to weigh up what’s most important in your life, money or job satisfaction. If you can get both great, if not I would choose satisfaction everytime

Garage Cleared but....

Somehow it would appear to be filling up with other stuff!

With a baby on the way we’ve started collecting allsorts in the garage including a travel system / pram / push chair thingy, tumble drier (apparently babies make a load of washing) and other assortments for decorating the baby’s room along with a whole load more.

Oh well maybe one day the garage will serve a purpose other than storing stuff as a temporary measure.

Clearing out the garage

My Garage has been full of all the stuff that should have gone into our loft when we moved house.

Unfortunately the loft was not boarded so it all went in the garage until I had done that task.

It’s taken me since May to get the boarding done but at last I can start moving stuff up there and making room in the garage.

Blu-ray writeable drives for PCs in stores next month!

Taiwanese firm AOpen has plans to introduce its first line of internal and external PC-based Blu-ray optical drives to the Middle East by the end of November.

This is the same technology as the PS3. With this early launch I'm sure there will be plenty of people aware of the technology and wanting to get there hands on blu-ray by the time PS3 hits the shelves next year.

Maybe this is just what Sony are hoping will drive PS3 sales in much the same way as people purchased the PS2 for it's DVD player capabilities.

PS3 costs scaring away developers

SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS may be scared away from developing for Sonyâ??s PS3 by the colossal investment required. And many may plumb for the Volish Xbox, instead a report suggests.

As for me, I think I'll wait it out until the PS3 surfaces before making a decision. The recent news of LocationFree TV poss being included in the PS3 means it would be the ideal partner for my PSP.
